Whether you’re new to the recycling and waste management industry or a seasoned vet, it’s important to understand the differences between compactors and balers so that you choose the right tool for the job. Both balers and compactors can help you manage your waste and recycling materials in an easier and more cost-effective way.

Balers are typically used for recyclable materials. They compress and bundle (bale) recyclable items like cardboard, paper, metal, plastics, etc. They are used to compress these items into dense and consistent shaped bales so that you can easily transport and store them. Recycling companies can then sell them or reuse them. Compactors, on the other hand, are typically used to reduce and compress large quantities of trash into a contained area. It’s a way to reduce the number of overall trash pickups to be delivered to the landfill as compacted trash takes up less space.

Read on for a list of our available compactors and balers and let us know if you have questions about the right solution for you and your business.

Direct Compactors & Baler Equipments – A Guide To Your Options

Stationary Compactor

Our Stationary Compactor gives you the most bang for your buck. It’s built for reliable and long-lasting performance in commercial and medium industrial situations. Additionally, it has better compaction ratios than other compactors and is ANSI Z245.5 compliant with an IEC motor starter. It has clearly marked controls and a safety door with security switches. All of our equipment comes with a warranty, and we offer full maintenance for our rentals.

Self-Contained Compactor

Our self-contained compactors is one of our most powerful commercial compactors which remains stationary while in operation. They are specifically designed for the positive containment of liquids, which make them great for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, grocery stores, and more. We highly recommend them for restaurant and cafeteria waste or even small material waste. Our design allows for the entire compactor and integrated container to be transported to the landfill for emptying.

In addition to offering a warranty, full maintenance for rentals, and a safety door equipped with security switches, here are few more features of the self-contained compactor:

They are still capable of holding wet waste from restaurants or even dry office waste.

Here are some of the vertical compactor’s features:

  • Safety Door With Security Switches
  • Remanufactured and Painted
  • 10 Hp

Pre-Crusher Compactor

Maybe you have items that fill up your container with air and take up too much space. We have a Pre-Crusher that eliminates “light loads” like pallets, crates, boxes, and drums that just take up space. Our packing ram moves through the charge box with a huge amount of force, crushing everything against the vertical steel wall. The wall is then raised and the ram can fully extend so that compacted items stay in attached container. The result means way fewer trips to the landfill.

With 30% greater compaction, clearly marked controls, an ANSI Z245.5 compliance, and of course full maintenance on all rentals, what are you waiting for? Get started making your job easier today!

Vertical Baler

Lastly, we have a vertical baler that is designed for both industrial and commercial needs. This machine will help you with baling waste paper, cardboard, foam rubber, aluminum cans, and plastics. We also have a variety of sizes to meet your needs and can produce bales from 250 to 1,000 pounds.

Our vertical balers are made with marked controls so anyone can use it easily and of course our standard safety door with security switches. They also come with our standard warranty and maintenance when you’re merely renting. Each of our machines is also re-manufactured and painted.
